The second part of the Crossbell arc, and a direct sequel to Trails from Zero, The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure was released on PlayStation 4 in March of 2023. It’s a port of the PSP game from 2011, and as with Trails from Zero, the PS4 version is lacking some upgrades that are present in the other versions.

This Deluxe Edition is a release typical of publisher NIS Europe, with the same contents we have come to expect. There’s a reversible cover, a mini artbook and a code for a digital soundtrack.

The softcover artbook is titled the Special Support Section Case Files, and it features character art and descriptions and illustrations showing characters from the game in various settings.

To conclude, this is yet another fine release by NIS Europe. While it is a bit of a shame the PS4 version doesn’t include the visual upgrades of the other versions, it’s still nice that NIS published a physical release of this game, with some (albeit minor) extras to boot, and the price is very reasonable as well.
