Collector's Editions

Halo 2 Limited Collector’s Edition

Halo 2 Limited Collector’s Edition was released in 2004 for the Xbox. Despite it having two adjectives in its name, one of them being ‘limited’, this is probably one of the least rare and valuable collector’s editions out there.

The tin box looks nice and clean: when the transparent outer sleeve is removed you get a matte metallic box with the Halo 2 logo on it. On the back you will find a black and white drawing of Master Chief.

Aside from the regular manual and a 2 month Xbox Live Gold trial, the game comes with two extra booklets (which are both quite thin): Strategy Evolved and Conversations from the Universe.

It also contains a bonus dvd containing a making of, behind the scenes footage and more.

Halo 2 Limited Collector’s Edition isn’t really anything special or rare. But I do like the way the steelcase looks, nice and clean, and attractive in its simplicity. The advantage is that these kind of collector’s editions are generally cheap, so you can have a nice looking box without paying a lot extra.
